Become a Volunteer Instructor

The Adaptive Sports Program at Mountain Creek needs dedicated volunteer instructors to introduce the joy and fun of skiing and riding to its special athletes.

To comply with the ASP Policy and Procedures Adaptive Sports Program instructors shall be:

• Certified Recreational Therapists (CTRS), Physical Therapists (PT) and certified PSIA ski Instructors.
  • The therapists will be responsible for organization, stretching, adapted equipment recommendations and use.
  • The PSIA ski instructors will be responsible for group lesson and individual instruction during the course of the clinic as well as answering general skiing questions.
• Recreation aides and volunteers with skiing experience will help assist instructors and participants.
• All staff must be over the age of 18.
• The ratio of staff to participants will be 3 staff to every 1 participant.
